Dr. Stanislav Licul Nomination for Technology Review Magazines’ Top 35 Young Innovators Under 35, Blacksburg, VA, 04/2009

Maxtena is pleased to announce the nomination of CEO Dr. Stanislav Licul for the 2009 Technology Review Magazine’s award honoring the world’s top young innovators. The young innovators award or, TR35, is a list of technologists and scientists, all under the age of 35. The magazine, which is published by the Massachusetts Institution of Technology (MIT), has been giving this award each year sense 1999 to praise young innovators whose inventions and research are found most exciting. The categories awarded are in fields ranging from medicine, computing, communications, electronics, nanotechnology, and more. Chief Executive Officer and President of Maxtena, Dr. Stanislav Licul of has received this prestigious nomination for his success with Maxtena in antenna innovations. Dr. Licul received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech he is responsible for the research, development, and manufacturing of innovative antenna technologies. Technology Review will showcase the TR35 finalists, including the "Innovator of the Year," in the September/October 2009 issue. A distinguished panel of judges—technologists, inventors, and entrepreneurs will evaluate the nominees. They will also recognize the finalists at EmTech09, the annual Emerging Technologies Conference and awards program, on September 22-24.
