X1-U has the smallest size and weight compared to any L-band solution with similar data throughput based on Maxtena’s Dynamic Aperture Technology (DAT) with total height of only 1.5 inches. It can achieve highest speeds compared to any L-band terminal: 176 kbps downlink and 176 kbps uplink. X1-U provides pole to pole coverage over Iridium network. It has integrated digital and RF functionalities. It is suitable for both 9810 and 9770 Iridium Certus modems.
