Dynamic Aperture Technology Iridium Maritime BAA
X12 has the smallest size and weight compared to any L-band solution with similar data throughput based on Maxtena’s Dynamic Aperture Technology (DAT) with total height of only 7.8 inches. It can achieve highest speeds compared to any L-band terminal: 700 kbps downlink and 352 kbps uplink.|X12 provides pole to pole coverage over Iridium network. It has on-board microprocessors and FPGA and tightly integrated digital and RF functionalities. Advanced software with artificial intelligence is used to track multiple LEO satellites without GPS assistance. X12 is 12-element active electronically scanned phased array (beamformer) with Native RF Cybersecurity, fully integrates with Iridium 9810 based modem using a single coaxial interface.
