X16
Dynamic Aperture Technology
Maxtenas X-16 is a Dynamic Aperture Technology based Active Electronically Scanned Phased Array (AESA). It can be configured for LHCP or RHCP mode. It has an advanced 3-axis/6-degrees of freedom gyroscopic stabilization unit. The X-16 provides extreme low elevation performance for extended satellite coverage. The X-16, besides highly directional beam control, has the ability to create omni-directional pattern for quick satellite acquisition and quick dynamic reconfiguration of the network. DAT is a scalable platform and can accommodate a wide range of frequencies and satellite networks (L-band to Ka-band). DAT software exhibits fast satellite acquisition and accurate tracking with computationally efficient algorithms. The algorithms can be adjusted for a variety of system applications and requirements. DAT technology employs digitally steered beams that eliminate all moving parts typically encountered in traditional systems. DAT also features a distributed power approach that results in higher efficiency systems that have low power requirements.|Our DAT platform allows for low cost, small size, and low weight applications, which could be ideal for high-data terminals for UAV and other moving platforms.
